If you've been following us since early this morning you know this has been yet another very long day putting up posts and moderating comments.
One of my posts talked about how the local USPS decided not to deliver today and some of you, (rejected) just kept complaining about their decision.
We I live in Ocean City and didn't get mail delivery here as well, nor would I have ever expected one.
I can tell you, UPS and FedEx come down my road twice a day and guess what, they haven't been out doing deliveries either.
Have a heart people. There comes a time when it's just too dangerous and even physically challenging, so lighten up.

I agree. I wish retail businesses had the same compassion for people. No one really needs to be out in this mess unless its an emergency.
You can bet the Royal Farms and other convenience stores are open selling hot coffee and hot chocolate as fast as they can brew it!!!
Sad part is you can’t please every keyboard warrior sitting in their warm house expecting them to appreciate actual working people battling the real outside elements.
Agreed, I havent left the house!
heck and most of them wouldn't even walk to the mailbox to collect any mail. some just like to complain and if there isn't any drama they will create some
Post office motto was broken today! Buy snow shoes wear a jacket stop crying. If the police can be out in Mostly rear wheel driver vehicles wearing 35 pounds of issue gear for 12 hour shift then the mail can deliver a letter or two...
Retail business that are not essential. Should be fined for opening. Nobody needs to go to the Mall that badly.
My mail carrier is a keeper. I do not wish him any harm because fools who have no business on the roads are putting my carrier in jeopardy. Carriers driving in rural areas have ditches, ice, snow drifts etc to deal with this Blizzard, an unusual weather phenomena, on our lower shore In this day and time what is more important - a mailman's life OR junk mail?
Thank you for this post Joe. I agree and was appalled by a negative comment yesterday regarding no mail delivery. Lives are more important than getting your junk mail!
If the US mail, Fed Ex and UPS can't make it in the snow for deliveries how can Fake Jake think that homeowners who pay their taxes take the risk?
Guess what, a lot of people won't get their mail and packages today either. Back roads and city streets are a mess. Stay home and let the professionals clean this mess up.
Professionals Ha Ha ! ..I Call That ..MR SUN !!
