A Comment Worthy Of A Post
Jake Day is full of crap. The best building days are long gone for Salisbury. The hey day was when construction commenced for the new Court House wing -(adjacent to the County government office bldg.), and, the Courthouse construction - multi-service center (District Court bldg.). Also, right after that is when they built the Firehouse palace on SBY's blog. At that time there was also substantial building - University Apartments near Milford street near the college. Jake is doing nothing more than fabricating a lie in hopes that the voters won't connect the dots to a failing city.

Sassafras Meadow's ? Really ? Is that on Lollipop Lane ? What Holly Hobby developer comes up with these saccharine names and what idiot buys these poptart dollhouses ? Is Sleepy Hollow going to have a Washington Irving Way ? Is it going to be a gated community protected by the headless horseman ? They had better hope so. LOL unbelievable.
11:30 - Sounds like all the construction you refer to was done on tax payers dime. I think Jake was making everything rosy of recent accomplishments but I do not believe he lied. Everything in the press release surely can be proven. What town doesn't , putting out a press release for their yearly accomplishment, without embellishment?
I believe virtually everyone knows that Jake Day is trying to blow sunshine up his you know what - in order to try and save face. Let's face it, Salisbury's economic activity is abysmal in comparison to Salisbury's former glory years. No matter how much lip stick he puts on the pig, doesn't make Salisbury's economy any better.
What Jake has done is to try and sell his very own soul in order to save face. He would be much better off to suck it up and humbly admit that Salisbury's economy is a catastrophe.
So Run for mayor and fix it. Stop complaining on a blog. it will accomplish nothing.........
Jake didn't kill Salisbury. It has been dying on the vine for 20 years. It is just circling the drain with him.
