NASCAR's Richard Childress opens fire on home invaders

NASCAR racing team owner Richard Childress fired his gun at intruders at his home in Reedy Creek, North Carolina.

Three men wearing masks allegedly broke into Childress' home on Sunday at around 10.30pm, when a broken window set off the alarm.

Childress, 72, then fired at the intruders, but police say none of them seemed to be hurt as they fled the property.

Surveillance footage captured the suspected offenders.
