They mentioned they got money for the bear enclosure from the state and how the repairs will hardly effect their budget.
What about the owls and wallaby's???
How long are they going to keep the wallaby's in that pitiful enclosure?
How long are the going to keep the owls in 5" high dog enclosures with one limb?

Salisbury zoo is disgraceful.
They put up a big black curtain/shield to prohibit the public from seeing what is going on behind the admin building.
Must have something to hide, otherwise there would be no need to block anyones line of sight
or the alligator habitat! Or the poor deer that does nothing but go in circles because it's scared to death being right next to the coyote or whatever it is! that zoo is a disgrace and anyone associated with it should be ashamed! I took people from out of town there this past summer and they left so in shock and disgusted over the conditions the animals are living in! Shame on Salisbury! When we returned to Easton and told people about how horrible that zoo is all people could say is "well Salisbury is the armpit of the Eastern Shore so what's to be expected."
This roadside mangy menagerie needs to be shut down. I have never seen such a depressing sight.
How much money does the County give them???
Get the County Reps to do something about that

There are standards. Despite your “feels” if standards are being met then they can continue operations. If the standards are not met then operations must cease. In America we have rule of law- not rule of “feels”
