NFL Continues to Suffer Massive Numbers of Empty Seats on Gameday

With the NFL facing cratering TV ratings, it is also important to note that fans are staying away from the stadiums, too.

Fans have remarked on the sparse crowds at several games since last Thursday night.

For instance, Levis Stadium in San Francisco did not appear to have many fans in the seats.

Another Twitter user claimed that two thirds of the seats were empty this weekend.

Others were just as shocked at how empty the stadium was.

I see Football now headed the same direction NASCAR did 10 years ago. Football's collapse is for different reasons than NASCARs', but the result is the same. For different reasons. Once it's gone, it won't come back.
They (Football players are getting what they deserve. And will wish they never heard of Colin kapernack soon enough.)

That's odd for SF because it is a very left leaning region. So, if the fans are turning away there, it must be REALLY bad.

The kneeling may have a part in it, but they haven't even won a game this year...I wouldn't spend my money on $15.00 and $10.00 hotdogs to watch them lose.
