President's Award

On September 29, 2017, Senator Eckardt was presented with the Community Development Network of Maryland's President's Award, along with Delegate Holmes from Prince George's County. They were awarded this honor for their work on the vacant property legislation.
Community Action Groundbreaking

On September 22, 2017, Community Action had a Groundbreaking for their newst property, a multi-unit affordable housing project. Community Action has been in the U.S. since 1964 and is dedicated to helping people out of poverty. Maryland has 17 Community Action agencies and Senator Eckardt is so proud to have one of them here on the Shore.
