Dove Apologizes For Thinking Ad Where Black Woman Turns White Was A Good Idea
For several years, Dove — the Unilever-owned toiletries brand — has tried to market itself as focusing on a more realistic notion of beauty, at least when compared to the often unattainable standards set by many of its competitors. So why on Earth did the brand think it would, in any way — in any world — be a smart idea to run an ad wherein a darker-skinned woman transforms into a very pale woman?

How sad and pathetic we have become where everyone is so offended by everything. Did anyone get upset because the white woman then turns into an Hispanic woman? Any outcry going on there? What a bunch of sad a$$ people. Dove should never had apologized because there is nothing to apologize for...
Where are all these offended people? Have you met any?Who gave them so much power?
The white woman then proceeds to turn into a Hispanic woman. The point of the add is that it is good for all skin types. If they did it the other way people would still complain. Stop making stupid people famous.
About the only things I find offensive is having to look at drawers or black cracks while out and about. Not to point a finger as I've seen a my share of light colored butts, which I assume are black butt "wanna bes".
The only time I was not offended is when a plumber was working under my kitchen sink.
Another way of Soros destroying American Businesses.
We have become so SOFT with feelings. Its a damn advertisement....geez!
Oh , My , it would be soooooo bad to turn a Black into a White........we can't have that in today's America !!!
What were they thinking ??? That was Not Politically Correct
...wish she would have taken off the second blouse..!
If it were a White who turned Black ...Nothing would have
been said .......Period !! It is, what it is, in America !
Hair straightener and skin bleaching have been staples of the black beauty scene for a hundred years.

Get off the internet Weinstein
dont know where they are going with the ad...but the product is yummy. It smells great in the shower and leaves your skin (what ever color) silky.
If they were offended by this, why not when Michael Jackson did the song Black or White, these people changed from different races as well. We really do have a bunch of cry babies, which scares me, these people are going to school and going to be higher ups in companies. Dove should not have to apologize, nothing wrong with the commercial. CRY BABIES!!
