Private College In Missouri Creates A Mandatory ‘Patriotism’ Class For Incoming Students

I actually really love this idea. And before you get your panties in a wad, realize this is a private Christian college.

College of the Ozarks in Missouri is unveiling a new course called “Patriotic Education and Fitness.” It’s aimed to “educate students on modern military customs, U.S. politics and flag protocol and procedures. It will also teach rifle marksmanship, map reading, land navigation and rope knotting.”

As in, it’s promoting ACTUALLY USEFUL skills. Most people don’t know jack squat about that stuff. We live in a world where students sit in class and analyze vagina art. (Think I’m kidding? My sister is dealing with that right now. Her stories are horrific.)
