Lower taxes, lees regulations to build a new home, tax free shopping and closer to PHL airport. No brainer.

That's why Delaware is booming while Maryland is dead.

Location, location, location.

Doesn't have to be that way in MD. State boys/girls need to be accountable and the happens during elections. TIRED of having to go to DE and VA for better deals than here in MD. Dumb politics!

My son finally got a job in Delaware after looking for months in Salisbury area. Few jobs and few opportunities here. My wife also works in Delaware because of this, and Maryland's response is to tax us for this! Have double taxation in both DE and MD! My only saving grace is my home is paid off. If not I would not be living here. Can't wait to leave when I retire.

This is why Jake Day claims Salisbury is rapidly growing in jobs because this area is part of the "SMA" or "Salisbury Metropolitan Area" and Jake Day is taking credit for it.

I thought there was a lawsuit and it was deemed illegal to be double taxed. I suggest you look in to it.

Can't be true because Jake Day says that Salisbury is the only boomtown on the Shore (thanks to him, of course)!
