(Easton, MD) Over the Columbus Day weekend, troopers of the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack arrested seven (7) drunk drivers, three (3) suspects for assault, one (1) suspect for unauthorized possession of a handgun, one (1) suspect with an active arrest warrant and cited seven (7) persons for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams.
On 10/6/2017 Trooper Woo conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 50 and Rt. 309, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Sheldon Mychael Neighoff, 25 years of age from Pennsylvania. During the course of the investigation, Neighoff was cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. He was cited and released on his signature.
On 10/6/2017 Trooper Baldwin responded to a two vehicle collision at Rt. 50 and Bucktown Road, Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland. One of the drivers was identified as Christopher L. Roth, 36 years of age from Delaware. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Roth had an outstanding arrest warrant with the Salisbury Police Department, Wicomico County, Maryland. Roth was taken before a district court commissioner and was held no bond.
On 10/7/2017 Trooper Norton conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 50 at Rabbit Hill Road, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Corey Michael Cooper, 21 years of age from Pasadena, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Cooper was cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. He was cited and released on his signature.
On 10/7/2017 Trooper Griffin conducted a traffic stop Rt. 313 at Kibler Road, Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Gorge Moralez Perez, 19 years of age from Centreville, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Perez was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Perez was released on his signature to a sober driver.
On 10/7/2017 Trooper Lyles conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 331 at Rt. 578, Preston, Caroline County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Jevon Montell Handy, 27 years of age from Denton, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Handy was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Handy was cited released to a sober driver.
On 10/7/2017 Trooper Glover conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 404 at Hillsboro Road, Denton, Maryland. The driver was identified as Jason Harley Gauck, 37 years of age from Denton, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Gauck was cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. Gauck was released on his signature.
On 10/7/2017 Trooper Laham conducted a traffic stop Rt. 50 at Mt. Holly Road, Dorchester County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Dontrell Jermaine Gabriel, 26 years of age from Delaware and the passenger was identified as Jevon Jeremy Smith, 29 years of age from Delaware. During the course of the investigation Gabriel was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Gabriel and Smith were both cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. Gabriel and Smith were released to a sober driver.
On 10/8/2017 Trooper Norton conducted a traffic stop Rt. 309 at Three Bridge Branch Road, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Michael Gary Parks, 70 years of age from Ridgley Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Parks was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Parks was issued citations and released to a sober driver.
On 10/8/2017 Trooper Griffin conducted a traffic stop at Greensboro Road and Old Mill Lane, Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Daniel Clement Haines, 76 years of age from Goldsboro Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Haines was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Haines was cited and released to a sober driver.
On 10/8/2017 Trooper Kekich responded to a 2nd Degree assault at Rt. 50 at Rt. 309, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The suspect was identified as Torray Lapond Kale, 41 years of age from Easton, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Kale was arrested for violation of a court ordered ex-parte. Kale was taken before a district court commissioner and was held.
On 10/8/2017 Trooper Bringman conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 328 and Kitty’s Corner Road, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Amanda Lee Harrison, 39 years of age from Preston, MD. During the course of the investigation Harrison was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Harrison was cited and released to a sober driver.
On 10/9/2017 Trooper Norton and Trooper Kekich responded to a report of an assault at 31406 Bruceville Road, Caroline County, Maryland. The suspects were identified as Nancy Marie Whitfield, 40 years of age from Easton Maryland and James Douglas Cannon Jr, 50 years of age from Easton Maryland. During the course of the investigation it was determined that both suspects assaulted each other. Both suspects were subsequently arrested for assault. Whitfield and Cannon were taken before a district court commissioner and were released on personal recognizance.
On 10/9/2017 Trooper Laham conducted a traffic stop at Rt. 16 and Old Stage Coach Road, Dorchester County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Qvonte Habarri Murray, 26 years of age from Cambridge Maryland. During the course of the investigation Murray was arrested for driving under the influence alcohol/drugs and cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. Murray was taken before a district court commissioner and was released on personal recognizance.
On 10/9/2017 Trooper Glover was investigating a report of a second degree assault in Denton, Caroline County, Maryland. The suspect was identified as Donald Joseph Lambert, 46 years of age from Greensboro, Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Lambert was arrested for an outstanding Caroline County District Court warrant. Lambert was taken before a district court commissioner and was released on $3000 unsecured bond.
On 10/9/2017 Trooper Graef conducted a traffic stop on Main Street, Greensboro, Caroline County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Donald Eugene Lewis, 36 years of age from Greensboro Maryland. During the course of the investigation, Lewis was arrested for possession of a loaded handgun and cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. Lewis was taken before a district court commissioner and was released on his personal recognizance.
On 10/10/2017 Trooper Laham conducted a traffic stop 2628 Todd Ville Road, Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland. The driver was identified as Peter Aniefuna Okemmuo, 29 years of age from Fruitland, Maryland. During the course of the investigation Okemmus was cited for possession of marijuana less them 10 grams. Okemmuo was released on his signature.

Looks like if you're under thirty and driving through Talbot county, you are going to be profiled and stopped to be searched for marijuana. How many did they stop, and no marijuana was found?
