Can you sing? Can you sing in a tent? Can you do it on Tuesday?
A production crew from American Idol will hold auditions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Westfield Annapolis mall. The daylong event will take place in a tent set up at the mall parking lot near the Lord & Taylor department store.
No celebrity judges will be at the audition, which will look for singers good enough to be part of the fall season — maybe.
“We will be in Annapolis looking for next American Idol and invite everyone out to audition,” said Melissa Elfar, a Los Angeles-based producer for American Idol. “They have the opportunity to audition in front of our producer-judges. This is a few rounds before seeing the show’s celebrity judges.”

I can dance like Leo Sayer, but afraid Antifa will be there to protest my dancing and singing.
Never seen it and don't plan on ever watching it. Nonsense TV that conditions people to vote for the best looking/most appealing person. That's how obama got elected. I'd rather see a TV show about smart nerdy kids competing for scholarships.
Actually that's pretty incorrect, do a Google search for past top 5 people, you'd be surprised. Quite a few "average" looking people. And quite a few well above "average" get voted off early.
Wouldn't waste my time....
Step one: Come up with a good sob story.....
Being scarred emotionally or physically will get you farther in the auditions than any talent you might have.
When I step in some dog doo outside, I can out moon walk Michael Jackson in a heart beat! When I accidentally walk through a cobweb, I can do about 50 different dance moves in about 30 seconds!
Everyone thinks they are a STAR ......NOT Good luck !!!
