Done with your eclipse glasses? Donate them to kids in another part of the world
Unfortunately, eclipse glasses aren't quite as valuable as they were this time August 21st. There are really only two things to do with those solar-filter glasses now: Save them for the next eclipse, or donate them to a good cause.
As long as your glasses are of the latest safety standards (see below) and they are not scratched or punctured, you can hang on to them for the next eclipse. In North America, the shadow of a total solar eclipse will return April 8, 2024, sweeping across Mexico and up northeast through Texas, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Vermont, and Maine.
If you're the traveling type, consider that the world's next total solar eclipse will happen in South America, bathing parts of Chile and Argentina in shadow just before sunset on July 2, 2019. There are also a number of partial and annular solar eclipses across the world in the coming years that you can use your glasses for as well.

Better yet save them for 2020....
8:58 if your glasses are like mine they expire in 3 years. In reality they'll probably fine for the 2024 eclipse, but I wouldn't want to chance it.
Get some WELDER'S goggles you fools ....they are Much better
okay wiseacre 858, another Presidential Party happens in 2020. Do you expect something spectacularly nuclear to take place then?
