5 Reasons Franklin D. Roosevelt was the WORST

Can you believe that there are at least three statues of Franklin D. Roosevelt in Washington DC? There is one in South Dakota too, another in Virginia, and even more in London.

It appears all these places are overrun by racists and fascist sympathizers. How can people put up with revering a man who:
1. Literally Rounded Up 120,000 Japanese Americans, and Put them in Concentration Camps!

That was authorized by executive order 9066, which Roosevelt signed February 19, 1942.

How is this fact so often left out of any discussion about how “great” FDR was? These people were American citizens, and they were arrested for no reason other than their heritage.

He imprisoned an entire race. How is he not widely accepted as the biggest American racist of the last century? He was certainly the most effective racist.

Two reports which Roosevelt commissioned in the years prior found that Japanese Americans posed little to no risk to the government. Since FDR ignored the reports’ recommendations, it seems his violation of the rights of Japanese Americans was motivated by racism.
2. He Actually Outlawed Gold!

FDR had absolutely no respect for the people’s rights. He had no respect for the rule of law. He was a tyrant!

I'm as right wing as they come and I agree with you. FDR in the 30s was an awful socialist. During WW2...he served the country effectively.

Don't forget LBJ...he was awful.

I read this article with a little different take. My perception was that this was somewhat of a satire on what the Dem's are claiming on Trump. This author was showing that even a Dem like FDR has to do certain things in certain times that when taken out of context appear to be demeaning if not traitorous. I don't think he was claiming FDR was bad or a traitor, I think he was showing that if you look at what a President does with a skewed eye, ANYBODY can be perceived to be a horrible leader. That was my take.

IF Communications and the internet and the information we have available today was available back then. we would have seen how much of a traitor he really was!! He ignored reports, allowed Pearl Harbor to happen, took us off the gold standard, and put us on a path to socialism. sure he looked good back then but was probably all fake news. and was set up that way to make him look good.. sorry I'm not a snowflake 56 year old vet who cannot stand FDR

Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and George Washington are most often the three highest rated presidents among historians. The remaining places in the top 10 are often rounded out by Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Harry S. Truman, Woodrow Wilson, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Andrew Jackson, and John F. Kennedy. More recent presidents such as Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton are often rated among the greatest in world opinion polls, but do not always rank as highly among presidential scholars and historians. The bottom 10 often include James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, Andrew Johnson, Franklin Pierce, Millard Fillmore, William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, Ulysses S. Grant, Zachary Taylor, and George W. Bush. Because William Henry Harrison (30 days) and James A. Garfield (200 days, incapacitated after 119 days) both died shortly after taking office, they are sometimes omitted from presidential rankings. Zachary Taylor also died after serving as president for only 16 months, but he is usually included. In the case of these three, it is not clear if they received low rankings due to their actions as president, or because each was president for such a limited time that it is not possible to assess them more thoroughly.

Roosevelt was horrible. Period. For all of the reasons highlighted.

It is true that almost all POTUS are horrible as well, but that doesn't change the fact that Roosevelt was horrible.
We are being mind controlled by the masonic elites who CHOOSE the POTUS.
Learn the truth folks, before it is too late.

FDR created the "Great Depression". I would never put Wilson in the top half.

FDR was elected by the American people four times! He must have been doing something right (supporting the American people's view)at the time. Its easy to go back, after the fact, and say it could have been done better, or differently. A different generation put a black president with a Muslim name, in the White House, two times, for no other accomplishments other than claiming to be black. He has divided our country like no other since the civil war. That will be how history judges him a hundred years from now.
