Nearing 400, homicides in Chicago continue to outpace last year

At least six people were killed and 35 others were wounded in weekend violence in Chicago as the number of homicides continues to outpace last year.

There have been at least 391 homicides this year, four more than last year when violence reached levels not seen in two decades, according to data kept by the Tribune.

The number of people shot, however, is down from last year: 2,112 compared to 2,337.

The first homicide of the weekend occurred Friday night when 23-year-old Brendon Frazier was killed in the 8800 block of South Eggleston Avenue, the South Side block where he lived.

The fact that nothing of substance is being done to curtail these brutal slaughters reaffirms, at least to me, that this is a planned elimination of a certain ethnicity. Someone is providing guns, someone is telling police to turn a blind eye figuratively by slow response or delayed reaction, someone is pouring drugs in to keep the gangs at odds.

Build "the wall" around Chi-town FIRST and eventually make it a prison - ala "Escape from New York"; "Escape from L.A."

Then put Snake Plissken in charge!
