Cans of Bush's baked beans are being recalled

Bush Brothers & Company is voluntarily recalling some of its products, affiliate WSET reported.

The company said is a statement that the recall is due to some of their baked bean cans having defective side seams.

These side seam defects may affect can integrity and may cause the cans to leak or allow for harmful bacteria to grow inside the product, the company said.

The recall includes 28 ounce cans of Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Beans, Country Style Baked Beans and Original Baked Beans.

These products were distributed nationwide in retail stores.
