More than half of voters think leaking classified information to media outlets is an “act of treason,” a Rasmussen Reports poll released Wednesday finds.
A majority, or 53 percent, believe it’s an act of treason, while 30 percent disagree and 18 percent are not sure. An overwhelming majority of Republicans, or 73 percent, feel that the leaks are treasonous, as do 50 percent of independents and 36 percent of Democrats.
Nearly half, or 47 percent, think the media are hurting national security, while 34 percent say the media are performing “a public service” by publishing the leaks. Nineteen percent are unsure..

The media are the ones that have spies embedded in the government and are complicit in treason.
Not that anyone should buy into these polls anymore given their inaccuracy and heavy weighting for the Liberals over Conservatives, leaking information is a matter of national security and should be treated with the upmost severity. It has never been indicted but now days journalists are pushing the envelopes way over the edge with publishing completely false information based on leaks. Unlike any time before, now it the time reporters should be held accountable for what they report and if some of the information is classified, then they should be prosecuted for it. There is a code of conduct for which they should uphold but don't. This all stems from their Trump Hate which has reached epic levels. They're ruthless in the pursuits of nothing burgers while letting real news go unreported. It's shameful.
Until someone is punished it will continue since the lines are blurred from right vs. wrong.
This pole sort leans to the leakers as Democrats since 2/3 of them do not think it is an act treason.
I agree with 2:46. Until someone goes down hard for this behavior there is no consequence so nothing will change. Look at Hillary and the sailor. Both divulged classified documents; Hillary goes free and the sailor gets jail.
Just half - that is scary!!
