Pit bull kills owner outside Pennsylvania home

Police said a pit bull mix killed its owner during an attack on the deck of the woman's Pennsylvania home.

Police were called to the home of Lisa Green, 32, at 900 block of Spring White Drive in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, Thursday afternoon by neighbors who reported hearing screaming and a dog barking.

The dog was still attacking Green when officers arrived. They managed to put the dog in the home so responders could treat Green's severe injuries, police said.

When are lawmakers going to outlaw these killers! We are all told the BS, "It's the owner, not the breed", but I never hear of a Chihuahua killing it's owner and they are mean little suckers!

Pit bull owners:
1. He's just a little baby.
2. He wouldn't hurt a fly.
3. No, he won't bite.
4. They get a bad rap.

Pit Bull owners are the biggest clueless ignoramuses to ever own a dog. They come up with this nonsense that's it all in the way you train them and treat them. When they say that it PROVES their utter stupidity. Either stupidity or a bold faced lie. Pits like every single other dog breed have inherent traits. Intelligent people know you can not EVER train out or love out an animals inherent traits. It can show up at any time with or withOUT warning or provocation. Pit bulls are fighters. And they will fight to the end. Pit owners can say what they want again just proving they are morons but you can not fully get rid of a dogs inherent traits. This is not debatable so don't some idiotic pit owner come on here and tell me otherwise unless you are compelled to prove how ignorant you are!

BS, not all pits are bad just like not all people are bad. Your fault, my fault or no ones faults that is how it is. Take care of your own and I will take care of mine. (map)

These dogs are wired wrong. They should be thrown into firey pits along with their owners.

2:00 you can come meet my dog if you want, she'll change your mind. That would mean you'd have to transcend your black and white view on the subject and I'm guessing on most subjects. PS props to you for knowing the word "inherent", you're an eastern shore genius. Please spare us your farcical knowledge of genetically inherent traits. You're inherently an idiot, how about that?

This dog is bred to take down and kill a 1000 pound bull, they are not for pets! It is their nature to kill and eat flesh!

Dachshunds are the most aggressive breed but they can't bite above the ankles so no one cares.
It is about the owner and unfortunately a lot of bad owners choose pitbulls. I have only once been bitten by a dog and it was a golden retriever that chased me down on rollerblades.
It's legal many places to own a crocodile. So 2:00, in spite of their predator DNA and taste for flesh, it is perfectly legal to own one if you do so responsibly.
I have a feeling that if there were aggressive looking poodles in all the rap videos you would all be demanding their prohibition instead.

Here comes the kill all the pitt bull people. People keep venemous snakes as pets but when an owner gets bit it isnt a war on the snake. Owning an animal regardless of its species is a huge responsibility. If you arent willing, knowledgeable and capable of owning an animal that could potentially end your life dont blame the animal. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

Pit Bulls will go after "prey" and kill it, just like retrievers will go after a ball and fetch it. It is an innate characteristic of the breed. Pit Bulls should be licensed and regulated like the dangerous animals that they are.
