3 officers in Freddie Gray police in-custody death suspended, face termination

BALTIMORE —Three of the six officers involved in the police in-custody death of Freddie Gray have been suspended, pending termination, law enforcement sources tell WBAL-TV.

Lt. Brian Rice, Sgt. Alicia White and Officer Caesar Goodson were notified last week of the administrative charges against them.

Officers Garrett Miller and Edward Nero face five days suspension without pay, sources said. Officer William Porter faces no punishment, sources said.

The five facing administrative violations can challenge the findings of the internal investigation by requesting a disciplinary trial board. Such a proceeding would be months away, but under a new state law, would be public.

The trial board process can take six months or more.

It's rotten at the top. They should have left after the last case. NOWAY they were not going to get screwed later some how some way. The brass has ALL the money and ALL the time to play games and find something out of NOTHING... This is why Baltimore is so messed up.

Mosby should be charged with inciting violence
I do hope they sue the city. They have been tried and found innocent by their peers. It is like double jeopardy.
Sad state of affairs for Baltimore. Only going to push crime to the brink.Officers will not be effective in the streets
