Damn straight we're being played. That woman probably raised her children while bilking our welfare system designed for citizens not illegal aliens.
Knew some people who were 2nd and 3rd generation Italian immigrants and would tell stories about never speaking Italian in public. They were here to become and be Americans.
Know a few illegals,good decent people,but will not work over 40hrs,unless it's cash...or they loose their benefits...WTF?

My wife is here legally as a foreign national,with Permanent Resident status. With the time and money it took I was a little resentful that the illegals get benefits/welfare. Wife's health insurance went up over 62%

Yes, there are American English and King's English variations. Spelling and diction and terms are different. Canada follows King's English, more or less, while the U.S. made it a point to change the KE to suit its independence.

I'm with 2:19. I say the same interview and thought the same thing. Either you want to be part of America which includes learning it's language or you don't belong here.
