But again the teachers unions will swear up and down that they are getting cut again like under O'Malley.

Balanced budget....no new taxes...Where's the beef...

If the schools would get back to actually teaching the basics you would not need all that money. Any liberal agendas should not be taught in any school.

And the schools here in Wicomico are still horrible. Reform and vouchers to create competition and drive quality, please! Young tax paying families can't afford to support public schools that are unfit to educate their children AND send them to a parochial school or other option. It's wrong!

Get rid of underperforming teachers, paid union reps, and excess administrative staff and we'll be able to save some real money!

Oh this is brilliant! Give liberals that control the education system MORE money to continue their FAILED education policies?? (shakes head in disgust) STUPID! Headhunt these liberal educators! Get them gone now! Tax and fee their union out of existence. Break the back of these communists that are indoctrinating children!

6:42 - Allow Maryland to vote to become a right-to-work state and see what happens to the unions!

Insane to me.... Hogan is turning out to be a professional politician. I will not vote for him again. FYI Maryland retirees got a 3 dollar cost of living raise and healthcare went up 14 percent. 70 percent of Maryland retirees can't afford to retire or are going back to work. What is the point of living in Maryland and working a lifetime?

Slow learners, how many times does it have to be proven that money is not the answer. Leadership would be a start with a budget.

How about this...you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. What I mean by that is I would venture young people do not care about education today. What is the goal? There are no jobs and it is more fun to raise he** in the streets and run with a gang. How many know a teacher who went to college, graduated, and thought they were going to change the world only to be beaten down by disrespect and a curriculum forced down their throats they don't agree with. How is $$$ going to fix that?

6.4 billion into K-12 and yet Beaver run school doesn't have money for field trips this year.... sounds like it went to the wrong places/people/projects. As usual. Maybe with an elected school board the waste will stop. We shall see.

I live just fine retired in MD. Was a trucker, nothing fancy. Retired at 60. House paid off. Vehicles paid off. No debt.

Nice job blaming Hogan for the lack of SS cola raises and Obamacare on him though.

Since when do schools pay for field trips?

For buses gas etc. They have no money budgeted for ANY trips. Where's the 6.4 billion going?
