Maryland teenager receives probation for incident in OC

Another man that was arrested for a large-scale confrontation with police last July had his day in court this week and pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and failure to obey police.

Germaine Levenbury, 19, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland was also charged with interfering with an arrest, but Deputy State’s Attorney Paul Haskell declined to pursue that charge because of a lack of evidence.

Levenbury was one of 11 people who were arrested on the Boardwalk on July 23 and July 24. According to police, a crowd became out of control and assaulted officers after a man was arrested for throwing a trash can around 10 p.m. on July 23.

The situation became worse after midnight. Haskell told the court that hundreds of disorderly people gathered on the boards near Seventh Street.

He is an adult, not a "teenager". Pathetic headline.

Genius ruling since there were no other options.

He is 19, but not looking for a safe space because trump won. It is mostly sheltered little white kids that all were told how great they were at T ball and soccer when they got a trophy.

"Levenbury was also ordered to pay $557.70 in fines and court costs by Jan. 31."
I bet his tattoos cost more than that - and the artist certainly didn't wait a couple of months for payment.
$557.70 - the penalty he has to pay for doing irreparable damage to the reputation of a resort town.
Wake up OC... Treat these type of offensives with kid gloves and you are only sending a message that you can come to that town and act the fool with no real punishment.

Ocean City has been taken over by punk thugs, it is no longer a family friendly resort town.It is not safe any more like it has always been. It is time for the resort police and judges to come down real hard on people who only want to cause trouble.
