PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Golf legend Arnold Palmer died on Sunday in Pittsburgh, the United States Golf Association confirms.
Our partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report Palmer died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he had been since Thursday undergoing heart tests.
Golf Digest Editor Joel Beall first tweeted just before 8:30 p.m. that Palmer had died. Golf Digest’s official account followed soon after.
