Question Of The Day 8-6-16

Did you watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics?

Many people are complaining about the amount of commercials that were aired.

That's a weird logo. It looks kind of like an IUD.

Yes. Very enjoyable. And yes too many commercials

Don't have NBC, refuse to pay for over priced Comcast. NBC didn't air the opening ceremony on the Internet, so no, didn't see it.

Watched Andy Griffin instead

Way to many commercials. I think it was rude for them to cut to a commercial as the American were being announced. The constant talking from the hosts was boring as well. After the Americans walked in I turned it off.

I have zero interest in this year's olympics.

Started to watch but was bored so I changed the channel. There were a lot of commercials and I feel like NBC announcers were kind of bland and did nothing to hype the ceremony not the olympic competition itself.

Back in the day when coverage really focused on the trials and heats, and the announcers only talked about the event I watched a lot.

Since they became hyper-commercialized and only show finals, and drop coverage of events if there isn't a USA angle, plus gauzy bios and network personalities - no. Don't even bother any more.
