A Viewer Writes: WILL " THIS SAME PUNISHMENT" HAPPEN TO THE PUPPY MILL OWNERS HERE ?

It's hard to view the photo of the puppy when 1st picked up by a delivery man, but the outcome is well worth the read with the updated pic of the now healthy pup!

Some yrs ago, to my amazement I found out the Amish are notorious for their Puppy Mills. (You will note the name of
"Stolzfus " responsible for this animals suffering.)

This story shows the GOOD that can happen when you have people, such as these stand up for and demand justice for animals rights!

The "number" of people that came forth, over 400, definitely caught the attention of the States Representatives !

Do note the remark in this story -"There are ONLY "3 states that DO NOT recognize this crime as a felony" and ------- MARYLAND is one of them! Hopefully , with the publics knowledge of the recent Puppy Mill operation here in Salisbury , Maryland Representatives will come forth to change Laws so those who commit such crimes will be punished much more so then they are now under current Maryland Animal Cruelty Laws!

With the two current happenings in Mardela Springs, one pet dog found shot to death and another near the same property, decapitated----It's the time to get the Laws changed.

(Story below about a PA "Puppy Mill" owner & one of the puppies
rescued by a delivery man)

I am a dog owner and overall pet lover but dogs are indeed "property" and you cannot murder "property". However cruelty to animals needs to be punished and monitored very closely (especially for younger offenders). there is a clear link between animal cruelty at a young age and escalating violence as the perpetrator ages.
