The worst case scenario we predicted yesterday, hours before the shocking events in Dallas had taken place, is now in play and the genie unleashed by the recent incidents of police violence - whether unprovoked or justified - and popularized by an aggressive speech by none other than the president in which he collectivized the failings of the US police force as one organic whole, is now officially out of the bottle.
Recall we said that "we believe that the current wave of anti-police sentiment will sublimate into a surge in social violence across the US, especially among blacks who target police, and sadly culminate with deadly consequences for all involved." While it is not clear if Obama's speech yesterday was the spark that accelerated precisely this sentiment, but after yesterday's mass killing of police officers in Dallas and various incidents across the US today, we are convinced that what is on the surface a surge in class/race/occupation tensions between segments of the black community and segments of the police force (because it clearly does not involve everyone in the those two respective groups), is about to escalate into a full blown war.
Case in point, the latest incident in what increasinly more are calling an all out race war was reported moments ago by AP who said that 37-year-old Lakeem Keon Scott, who is black, opened fire indiscriminately at passing cars and police on a Tennessee highway. He later told investigators he was angry about police violence against African-Americans. One woman died and three others, including one police officer, were injured in the rampage.

Civil war is coming thanks Obama
Charlie was right just years off. Helter skelter
Joe I am amazed at the total ignorance of these shooters. To randomly go out and shoot white people or the police for that matter for the acts of a few is ludicrous. What these racist terrorist are underscoring is the fact that a very small minority are acting out in violence from both races. So to label all police or all whites or all Blacks is ignorance and bigoted.
I will not go down the road of the police shootings. The officer that killed an unarmed suspect in South Carolina is in jail. The officer in Chicago is without a doubt going to jail. The system is not perfect by any means but it does work.
I have to wonder if statements by our President and the malicious prosecution of six Baltimore Officers that failed my have fanned the flames of racism. People are angry they did not get that pound of flesh they needed.
The statistics our President brought to the nation that clearly motivated people with anger and hatred in their hearts to act out. If this mentality spreads and it will if leaders do not step up and speak out against all violence.
We have clearly become a nation of angry people. The sad fact is it is such a minority involved in all this racial rhetoric. I sit here tonight wondering where we are going as a nation. I have a heavy heart over the road in which we seem to heading. If there is anything that should come out of this barbaric slaughter of innocent officers trying to protect a peaceful protest. Is that it is all senseless and unjustified in any way.
The disportionate number of arrest President Ohbamha spoke to is simple economics. The fact is more poor people commit crimes hence inner city impoverished people have more contact with the police. Somewhere we have to find a middle ground in fixing this critical problem. Just as you have a vicious sub culture killing one another. I do not judge an entire race by the acts of these young men who have no value on human life. One can not blame the police or anyone else for the values never instilled in these young men. They come from broken homes without any role models to guide them. They are actually willing to die for a street corner. Someone please tell me how the police should approach this culture usually alone on a call for service.
There is no easy answers here. The community as a whole has to work on this cancer that is eating our nation. We have to rid communities of predators. We have to dissect these people so others have any chance to thrive. We have to educate the ranks of law enforcement that being poor is not a crime. That the majority of the people living in blight would much rather be living the American Dream. I think we lost so much when we went away from community policing. I have always felt it was an amazing concept. I recall people knowing officers on a first name basis. Those units have almost disappeared due to budgets and demand.
Tonight when I lay my head I will pray for my brothers and sisters that have to go out and serve every day. I will pray for the community in which I serve. We all need to remember that we are all Americans and need to watch each others backs no one else will. Think before you react.
Joe you also play a major role as does all media. There needs to be unbiased reporting on matters of race as well as all police matters. People actually do believe what they read. It does influence people of all walks of life.
God Bless all Americans as we wade through this crisis.
George Soros funds BLM and most hate groups on his quest to destroy America cut the head off the snake and it will die.
You absolutely oblivious.
9:07 you nailed it. You said what needed to be said. Thanks...
This is just what Ob' wants, so he can declare Martial Law.
