Fallon Claims That Hillary Clinton Didn't Lie To Congress

Brian Fallon, the press secretary for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, falsely said Thursday on CNN that the presumptive Democratic nominee did not lie to Congress about the classification of emails on her private server during her tenure as secretary of state.

Host Wolf Blitzer questioned Fallon about FBI Director James Comey’s testimony earlier in the day about his agency’s investigation into Clinton’s private server. The House Oversight Committee questioned Comey for nearly four and a half hours.

“[Rep.] Jason Chaffetz asked the FBI Director today if Secretary Clinton lied during her sworn testimony before the Benghazi Committee in Congress when she said, in her words, ‘there was nothing marked classified on my emails either sent or received,’” Blitzer said. “Did she lie to Congress?”

“Of course not,” Fallon responded.

They stick together. They'll drown together in their own misguided way. The fear is that they'll take us with them.
