COAST GUARD ASSISTS 4 ON VESSEL NEAR
 OCEAN CITY, MD

BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard assisted 4 people on a vessel taking on water Wednesday near Ocean City Inlet.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Ocean City received a report at approximately 11 a.m. of a 25-foot boat taking on water with 4 people aboard.

Station Ocean City launched a 24-foot Special Purpose Craft-Shallow Water boat crew to respond.

Once on scene, Coast Guard crew members assisted with dewatering efforts and escorted the vessel to West Ocean City Boat Ramp.

No injuries were reported.
