Students abandoned their classrooms at Forest Grove High School Thursday morning in protest of a “Build A Wall” banner found hanging in a school hallway, according to KGW News.
“It was immediately taken down, within literally a minute or two, and the students who hung it have been disciplined,” Connie Potter, chief of staff for the Forest Grove School District told The Oregonian.
The district withheld the names of the students responsible for the banner.
Some said the banner was offensive to Latino students, a demographic that makes up for about half of the Forest Grove student body.

So students cannot have a politeral view. It is one of the topics of this election, and as a voter, a reason to vote for or against a candidate. So the question is, are all politics and political beliefs withheld from the students?
It's Oregon so we know these kids have their heads screwed on backwards.
Funny how you can walk the halls of schools in Wicomico County and see posters/banners of Obama all over the place. Why isn't someone disciplined for putting those hateful and distasteful banners up?
Those kids that "walked out" are obviously misguided, indoctrinated future Democrats.
1221 sure juveniles can have a political view but can't break rules of the school for it. If they do then suspension. Kids need to learn if the juice is worth the squeeze.
WHAAAA WHAAAAA WHAAAA
