I'm fine with it. They can run my tag whenever they want. I'm a law abiding citizen, not wanted, not transporting drugs and fine with it. Now the wanted criminals might have a problem I'm sure.

That island at summer full capacity is a prime target. Imagine the harm that one individual could do in downtown OC. I am happy to hear they are taking precautions. As 3:54 said....they can run my tag number any day of the week. Not a problem.
People would complain MORE if something horrid happened at Seacrets than simply be concerned about a few tag numbers. Besides....where does Washington play on weekends....right!!

this scenario would be a total travesty in OC I personally don't see the appeal of traffic backed up all the way to ocean pines on Rt 90 getting in and forget about rt 50 bridge entry. Could you imagine all that chaotically trying to get out??? UNREAL
I don't get it, been detained a few times in my day and most of the time I've been cut a break. Never been pulled that it wasn't warranted. You complainers need to hook up with BLM for a membership card or instead when stopped, you be respectful and find that you will receive the same. You act like a jerk that you are and you will be treated like one. Treat people like you would like to be treated and you will be amazed.

They have these tag readers at both 50 and 90 coming into OC. There is also another one in North Ocean City. Joe posted something about this last year when they got the grant.
To separate fact from fiction. Usually these readers are used for one thing and one thing only. If there is a tag registered for a stolen vehicle OR one of the tags hits as being owned by a known criminal they at least know he is on the island.

Bunch of fools whom are okay with giving up liberties for a false since of security. This is part of the reason we are in the mess were in. I can see too many idiots comfortable with the martial law that is soon to come.
Why do you clowns think it is ok to be tracked, just because you feel as though you are not a trouble maker or a wanted criminal? Why is it ok for you to give up not just your rights, but mine too, when I don't want my rights given up? Who are you to decide that for me? It is sad, that you people rather give up your rights for a ponzi scheme for the govt to make money, and what is funny is how a traffic violation is a criminal violation, because if you fail to pay a ticket or anything of the sort, they come after you criminally...
Do you so called "non criminals" know that you break the law every damn day??? There are so many laws and new laws being implemented with or without your or my knowledge and you sit here running your mouth as if you are no criminal, well you are, I know for a damn fact that you non criminal thinking people have broken the law a ton of times, you just never got caught YET!!! hear that, YET!!! I bet you don't come to a full 3 seconds or more of a stop when you go to a stop sign, I bet you rolled over that stop bar once or twice too... I bet you sometimes don't use your turn signal and I sure as a hell know, you have sped in your car or truck before... I am sure you ran through the yellow light that quickly turned red too... I bet someone you park in other peoples parking spots or parking lots which other pay for but you, so you can afford paying 50 cents to park... I see it downtown a lot... I bet even someone you don't pay the meter if you park at one, even if your goign to only be 5 minutes... Well all of that is breaking laws, so don't tell me a damn thing about how you love being tracked and your break no laws, because I know for a fact you do...
