USPS Will Cut Postage Rates This Weekend, Isn’t Happy About It
If you’ve been stocking up on Forever stamps since the last price hike at the beginning of 2014, we have some bad news: those the price of first-class stamps will fall by 2¢ down to 47¢ this weekend. That might perhaps causing slight annoyance for consumers, but will hurt the U.S. Postal Service financially. The price cut, you see, wasn’t their idea.

They agreed to drop the price on their last negotiation for congress to bail them out. I say take the life jacket off let them sink or swim. They've been getting bailouts for 30 plus years why do we keep allowing it, obviously they are no longer an essential part of societies way of corrrespondence
Okay, I operate a business which charges foe a service by the piece.
It's been operating at a loss for decades.
So, I'll lower my prices and make it up on volume.

The postal service is a lost cause and we have excepted it like all the other lost causes in the Obama administration . I also learned yesterday that Obama appt. a muslim as the CIA head , we are lost and he's taking this last year as his final goal to the destruction of America. Congress just turned their heads.
I, for one, still appreciate the USPS, and do believe they are still an essential part of our society, so just leave them alone.

USPS is like Kinney shoes, 30,000 pair of loafers. No one is in a hurry and most of the time they are just plain rude. I gladly pay more to ship most everything by fedex. The only non union shipper.

Why does everything on here have to be divided as liberal or conservative? Most people are a mix of each depending on the issue. Very few are hard core one or the other.
Some people just don't like others having an opinion 1:05 PM.
Here's my opinion the USPS is and has been the most mismanaged and poor services outfit for a while now. Don't try to have any of your Mail forward if you move its all returned to sender
