No matter how many primaries or caucuses Bernie Sanders wins – he still loses.
All of the Vermont senator’s victories count for very little under the Democratic Party’s oddball delegate system.
The Democratic National Committee insists the primary process is not “rigged” for Hillary, but Bernie’s supporters are outraged and have demanded the party’s superdelegates to “pledge to back the will of the voters.”
GOP front runner Donald Trump suggested on Tuesday the VT senator should seek an independent path to the White House and abandon his run for the Democratic nomination.

That's the only way Trump has a chance , drawing some votes from Hillary , if he drops out of the race we are doomed as a country.
Smartest thing he said, divided the democrat vote
Bernie would take half of democrats votes so Hillary would have no chance.
Independent didn't work out for Ross Perot or what ever his name was.
I guess he realizes that is the only way he could beat Hillary.
He doesn't have to run as an independent. Not all of Sanders' people will vote for Clinton, even though he has graciously said they should. Many will sit this one out. Some will write him in. Some will support Trump. Some will vote for Clinton. Reality is, Dems would be better off with him as the nominee.
