Question, have u heard of a scam. Two men going around Wicomico County possible solar roof scam. Will send a man back to look at your roof to see if u quality or a solar roof at no charge. But need your bank Acct. for monthly billing after solar panels are installed on roof. And working through Delmarva Power. Also saying later, all will have to go to solar power .

For the last couple of weeks guys have been trolling the neighborhoods off E Main, at Bell, Phillips and Saratoga.
I have a no trespassing sign so they do not bother knocking on my door.
I get calls daily from people trying to sell solar panels. I usually just hang up on them. Thanks Obama for another worthless idea.
There is also a scam of man calling claiming to be from the US Treasury Dept notifying you that you are going to court--this has been forwarded to our States Attorney office as I have gotten two and they are very threatening.
Joke's on them if they come to my house. I live in the woods so if they wanted to give me money for my rooftop space, I'll gladly take it!
I get daily scam calls. I just don't answer numbers I do not recognize. If it is important they will leave a message. I also do not answer door to people I do not know.
I don't know why ANYBODY would buy a roof or solar or any type of home improvement work from somebody who shows up at their door.
That's almost a guaranteed scam.
How will you find them if it isn't done right?
There was a man driving around Sharptown about two weeks ago. Knocked on my door and told me he had great news--my roof was "just right" for solar panels. yeah, buddy....go fly a kite!
10:26 I'm with you...I don't answer foreign numbers or answer the door to strangers. BUT... I do have solar and I have for several years and I LOVE it. Local company on Snow Hill Road. Don't know if I can mention the name here but they are great.
