The United States is sending nuclear-capable B-52 aircraft to drop bombs on the Islamic State terror group, defense officials confirmed to Fox News Friday.
The B-52 Stratofortress will start its first bombing campaign against ISIS in April, the Air Force Times reports. It's not clear how many B-52s or airmen will be involved.
Officials say the aircraft will replace nuclear-capable B-1 Lancers hitting ISIS targets in Iraq and Syria.
The Lancers returned to home bases in the U.S. in January.

And just why are we telling them when we are coming? Are we stupid or what?
Well gosh, let's announce our every move, so we can be "attacked" and make up another "war" to kill off yet another batch of Patriots who the government baits into joining to protect the Constitution, little knowing they are promoting the drug trade and guns for ...what?
They need to advertise their bombing schedule so they know when we're coming. Idiots.
Guess that's what's meant by transparency in government.
Notice this administration advertises our every move, along with the former Sec of State using an unsecured server for our enemies to hack and view as well.
Obama is a treasonous pos.
Yeah to get our soldiers killed, our military needs to arrest Obama.
It won't hurt to tell them the B-52s are coming.
In fact, if they know anything about them it will be helpful.
Let them know they are about to have a bunch of VERY bad days.
Obama calls it "Rules of Engagement". There is no such thing in war. The man is a moron, Muslim, Democrat, liar.
8:52 - Generals should run wars...only after the politicians get us in to them or fail to keep us out of them. With the Generals in charge and free to perform their tasks - utter destruction of the enemy should be the only expected result. It worked on two sets of enemies during WWII - ever since then, we have had our hands tied by liberal politicians...while we remain constantly in conflict.
Will this, as it has happened before, be after the B-52s drop leaflets to warn everyone to get out of the way? Think of how well this has worked in the past.
