It appears those days are over. As ABC News reports, the attacks on Trump are ramping up, and the spending is YUGE:
Broadcast advertising dollars aimed at toppling GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trumphas soared 900 percent since his first primary victory in New Hampshire - a total of more than $63 million -- according to an ABC News analysis of CMAG/Kantar Media data.
The total haul aimed at blocking the real estate mogul is now three times as much as what Trump has spent on his whole campaign and twice as much as the behemoth super PAC Right to Rise spent during its tenure supporting Jeb Bush.
And while anti-Trump forces have ramped up their attacks in recent weeks as the prospect of a Trump nomination has gotten more and more likely, Trump has largely continued his string of primary and caucus victories.

I hope they continue to waste money. this should show you why we need a peoples election and need to keep big donor money out of it. The system is broken and trump may not be perfect but he owes no one anything and there should be hell to pay if he wins. IRS audits on all those big donors!
And he will continue, the more they attack the stronger his support will get. Republicans, independents and working Democrats will begin to see this is a bigger battle than anti-Trump. It is “We the People” against the NWO which is destroying the very fabric of American society, I.E. Obama's "fundamental transformation of America". Join the battle, stop the onward march of the compromised Republican elites, communists, socialists, rabid liberals and assorted thugs which are the tools of the NWO. If we come together we can win. If we don't we may all hang separately, and this time that may be literal once the NWO/Communists get total control. (For the low information voters among us NWO is the New World Order a.k.a. Novus Ordo Seclorum).
This makes me more determined to vote for Trump and try to persuade others...
If they had expended this much energy opposing the current POSOTUS and his regime - we would appreciate what they had actually accomplished representing the people that elected them.
Meanwhile, they just want to be elitists and continue to be reelected!
