Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) suggested Thursday that if he is willing to meet with a "dictator," he would meet with Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.
"If I can meet with a dictator in Uganda, I can surely meet with a decent person in America," Grassley told CNN. "I want to make it clear that the message we told him on the phone yesterday — I will tell him face-to-face."
While Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) and other Republicans have refused any in-person meeting with a President Obama nominee, Grassley is one of approximately 10 senators who have suggested they would be willing to meet with Garland.

Time for Grassley to be replaced
Let's be clear....the nominee agreed with Obama to try and force the Senate to bow to Obama's wishes.
The Senate is entirely in charge as to whether he's interviewed, gets a committee meeting or hearing, or a vote in committee or on the floor.
Dems talk out of both sides of their mouths. Biden, Schumer and Obama, among others, are on record both in what they said and what they did in the past. Time for a dose of their own medicine.
Hang in there Republican senators!
