Admits sports memorabilia business sold counterfeit autographed team jerseys
Joshua Shores, owner of Ocean City Brewing, has pleaded guilty for his involvement in a $2.5 million fraud scheme involving the sale of allegedly counterfeit and fraudulent sports memorabilia.
In a statement from Peter Smith, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, he said Shores, 41, was charged on Jan. 29 with wire fraud in U.S. District Court in Scranton. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
The criminal charges stem from Shores’ supposed plot to profit from the sale of counterfeit and fraudulent sports memorabilia. Between 2008 and 2013, Shores allegedly operated multiple Internet businesses including Dealakhan LLC, Stadium Authentics, Autograph Showcase, Sunset Beach, End Game Sports, and Authenticgraph, among others, in York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Everyone knew this guy was a fraud from day one.
The only smart thing he did was put the brewing company in his mothers name. How amazing it is that he is so sorry now, not when he was bringing in $2.5 million!
Good 'ole American greed!! Sick of anybody anything tied to this outbreak of status quo for funding and supporting a micro brewery in every little town on eastern shore. I guess you can't tap into the county controlled liquor stores so this is next alternative. Stop whining about all the alcohol and drug addiction problems when all your resources support it
I am waiting for the green to hit MD. Who cares about crappy craft brews.
112 yes sir !!
I will not drink his beer
