Maryland’s Natalie LaPrade Medical Marijuana Commission released the raw numbers of dispensary applicants earlier this week at the same time the Town of Snow Hill played host to the county’s first informational session on how it all might work once dispensaries are open late next year.
Snow Hill has made no secret in trying to attract potential growers, processors and dispensary operators into the town, and the informational session, attended by about 30 people, was couched as a special work session of the mayor and council.
Positive Energy LLC, run by Royal Plus owner Matt Odachowski, also received the town’s endorsement for his three applications: one each for grow, processor and dispensary licenses.
The deadline to submit the 75-page intense applications passed earlier this month, and early approvals are expected to be handed down at the end of January.
Odachowski sought approval from the Worcester Commissioners, who each declined – individually and collectively – to support any one candidate. The commissioners did, however, promise to work with whoever ends up with one of the coveted licenses.

Big Jim works for this guy, you can bet he will be approved handled the same way it was at Ocean Downs.
Follow the money with this group!!!!
Where is our local law enforcement at on this, should not they be asked where they stand on this issue.
Local law enforcement cannot override state law. There is a whole more pot being grown illegally than this place will ever produce.
Who cares what local law enforcement thinks about it? If it's legal, they have no say in it.
To the anonymous commenter worried/upset because their comments won't get approved, put your name to it and act like a man, not a coward. OWN what you say and your comment will go up. Until then, you are a hater who is trying to use this format to defame someone while being a COWARD.
