Who says your dollar doesn’t stretch in today’s housing market? In poking around looking for homes priced less than $50,000, we uncovered a 20-bedroom mansion inManchester, NH, for just $29,900.
Of course, there is one tiny catch to get all this house for such a low price. Namely, a buyer has to move the home from its present location, a task that could cost $200,000 to $300,000 if done locally.
Known as the George B. Chandler Home, the 9,505-square-foot mansion was built in the late 19th century by a local mill owner and later donated to the Catholic Church. It subsequently was used as the local Catholic bishop’s residence and a convent.

If that schoolhouse cost $90,000 to move this could go over $1 million.
What a shame because that home is BEAUTIFUL!
Hollywood should buy it and blow it up in a movie!
The upkeep on a house like this would be a challenge in itself. I would guess that just a new roof would top $40,000.
5 gallons of gas and a match.Problem solved.
