A letter that went out to students and staff from the University of Maryland Police Chief David Mitchell asks them to ponder being confronted by a shooter on campus. He wants to planfor a crisis rather than be blindsided by it, citing recent school shootings across the country.
“Certainly Oregon and Texas are the most recent examples. We’re well aware of that on this campus,” Mitchell tells WTOP. In less than a week there were fatal shootings at campuses in both those states, as well as Arizona.

I just wonder how one in to prepare for a shooter? Hell I've been around for 72 years , the only way I know is to fight fire with fire , all should be able to have gun permits. I do , the 2nd amendment.
When I was in Korea we didn't throw rocks at the north Koreans because they had guns with bullets. Anyway , Let me know if anyone has a solution on preparing for a shooter , other than shooting back.

How the hell do you know how old he is? And his statement is fact. The only way to be prepared for a gunman is to have a gun.
Now ... The question is, when will Maryland have its campus/school shooting. The way things have played out.... I can see it happening now and the almighty cops tried to warn us ahead of time. This announcement is nothing more than a heads up that the government is going to kill Maryland students next.

He said he has been around for 72 years. 2015 minus 72 equals 1943, so he would be 10 years old in 1953, but hey, whatever you say, cool guy.
The best way to be prepared is to be armed and ready to fight back. The school wont allow that though!
