ROCK HALL — The former chief of the all-unpaid fire company here has been charged with conducting a theft scheme that netted him about $260 worth of gasoline, in less than a month, for his private vehicle.
Paul Brian Brinkley, 41, of Rock Hall, also is charged with nine counts of theft — one count for each of the times he allegedly used the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company’s Valero credit card to gas up his own vehicle at the Shore Stop convenience store in town.
His trial is Sept. 29 in the District Court for Kent County.
Brinkley was the fire chief at the time of the alleged offenses, May 6 to May 30.
He left the fire company at the end of June.
He was served a summons Aug. 26.

I wouldn't be a bit surprise if the wannabe far cheefs in Salisbury doesn't steal gas for their private vehicles at home. All of them have gas cards that they can use at their pleasure. A little here, a little there, it all adds up just like this case.
So I wonder what O'Malley will be charged with for his theft of the furniture from the State House.
I hope Hebron fire department is reading this, they love to use the the department credit cards for their own spending...are you listening chiefy beach.everyone is going to find out about the poor management around there soon enough
I agree about the comments on Salisbury, O'Malley and Hebron. Bush Beach and family use the funding donated and granted to the Hebron VFD like it is his own money. Always buy gas and beer for him and family. Beer should never be an expenditure for a non profit company of any profession especially when when public funding and donations are the revenue source.
Oh but wait these are the ones you want to run fire and EMS in the city
