Wow. I hope that a Delaware police agency bwas notified and present. If not, this case is all ready over. And actually it maybe. This chick has a right to fight extradition from Delaware. If she wasnjust taken by Maryland police from Delaware to a Maryland jail and judge, her process of due rights have been violated.

Wow..... I'll bet they never thought of that. C'mon and give these guys some credit. Whew!

Took the words out of my mouth. Nothing mentioned about waiving extradition.

Thanks for the advice Perry Mason.

It depends on where her house was in Selbyville. I know the article says Selbyville, DE, but a lot of homes just across the state line have mailing addresses in Delaware.

Perry Mason. I could live with your insult. Still better than any local cop.

If her due rights were in fact violated then its just another do what they want case. Typical. Usually the police reports say exactly who was involved in the arrest. 6:52 makes a good point. Let's see if she has enough money for a good lawyer to beat it if so. If she's broke then the public pretender will help her pack.

Don't be so quick to knock the public defenders. The Sifrit case is the perfect example. Both were charged with 1st, 2nd degree murder and other offenses. She had a private defense attorney out of Baltimore. He had a public defender. She was found guilty of 1st degree murder which meaning life. He wasn't but was found guilty of 2nd degree meaning 30 yrs.
What you have to remember is that around here, certain public defenders have tried more murder trials and other criminal offenses than all the other lawyers on the lower shore put together.

You roadside attorneys amaze me. Of course they considered jurisdiction. Do you think they've never done this type of invesyigation before? OMG. You had better go back to watching TV cop shows and believe it happens like that in real life. Jurisdiction is part of the thought process of every police supervisor as they monitor and/or assist with the development of a case as it proceeds. Thats their job. It's what they do everyday. I hope you all do as well at your jobs as these deputies do at theirs.

I don't care what ANY of you say, this has to be one of the worst press releases I have ever seen.

This is what the "Good Ol Boys" are all about. Daddy is a multi millionaire and too high profile to tell what really happened. Why else was this kept from the press for so long??? She was arrested DAYS ago.

Its only because SBYNews exposed it that they finally came out with a press release and that is an absolute fact.

Sure makes you wonder how many other serious cases are covered up and kept from the public.

I have noticed several serious crimes get recorded on Maryland case search that never make the news. Joe What is the law on press releases? Are police required to do press release and who is accountable if the don't ?

There is no law or requirement on press releases. If it is not a matter of public safety I do not know why the police would even do a press release other than it gives people something to gossip about. If anyone is that curious and wants to know the crime in their area just walk into or call your police department I am sure they will tell you. I always go to the local police before real estate purchases because they will tell you the truth about a neighborhood unlike a realator

8:33, a realtor isn't supposed to tell you about anything other than the property. It is unethical for them to go out of their area of expertise. Same as it would be for a doctor to give legal advice or vice versa. They can not give advice on loans, any legal matters or anything else other than the property they are showing. That goes with any profession that is bound by ethics. This because what someone may consider high crime is an opinion open to one's own life experiences.

Where are her pics

This is pretty pathetic. It doesn't really give you enough information.
