Probably our best governor ever.

I don't think so 1:05. Mandel was all about big government. He was the one who put the schools under state control, expanded Medicaid and other entitlements such as school lunch programs.

Hardly the best governor ever. He was another stain on the state as are most democrat politicians. He was the beginning of the state's debt because he started all kinds of social programs without any thought to how to pay for them. He was a terrible governor and a horrid disgusting man any way you try to spin it. He didn't have the guts to tell his wife he was leaving her and had her doctor do it and when she called him to try and talk it over, he told her it was too late he's already informed the media!

He was your typical democrat, a sleazebag. Spent almost 2 years in fed prison.

He also was the first to enact gun control laws. Governor Hogan should not have ordered the flags to be flown at half mast. Mandel was a disbarred convicted felon who spent time in prison. Between this and the way he handled his marital problems he most certainly is a stain and not someone anyone should be memorializing. Just because he slithered his way into politics means nothing and doesn't make a person great.

8;55 says, "He was your typical democrat, a sleazebag. Spent almost 2 years in fed prison."

This must make Spiro Agnew your typical Republican, a sleazebag. Former governor Agnew became the second Vice President to resign the office. while Governor, he accepted more than $100,000 in bribes. He was fined $10,000 and received three years probation in a plea bargain later mocked by former MD Attorney General Stephen H.Sachs as "the greatest deal since the Lord spared Isaac on the mountaintop."

Sleazebags come in all parties. How can some of you people be so dense.

DUH!! Well no kidding 1:43! There's no fooling you is there? Of course "sleazebags come in all parties", Einstein. The focus here happens to be on Mandel who happens to be a democrat and if you get right down to it and decide to become honest there isn't a good democrat anywhere! Anyone who still stands behind and supports that party is a no good complete and utter dreg of society. Unlike the GOP who has a few bad apples each and every single democrat is a foul putrid person. The dem voters too who enable the politicians they elected to pilfer and steal and lie and excuse them time and time again.
There is a special place in hell for all democrats. They are all very bad people.
