In Memory Of Charles Stephens

Charles Edward “Chuck” Stephens, 75, of Hebron passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2015. He was born in Washington DC on July 16, 1940 to Ernest M. and Mary Catherine (Kemp) Stephens. Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1964. From there he embarked on a 30 year career with IBM, retiring in 1992. He was a lifelong Redskins fan and a charter member of the Urbana Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed family gatherings with lots of family and friends.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara King Stephens, daughter Kelly Ann Stephens and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ernest Alton Stephens and sister Nancy Stephens Walker.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon at Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., Owings, where a funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice or the American Heart Association.
