You know what irks me is Doverdale has a nice setup, have you seen the building they have for cooking in and from what I hear it is fully stocked with equipment but those of us not gang affiliated cannot/dare not use it.

Is some of that money going towards upkeep on it so SOME of the unappreciative people of that community can keep destroying it and keep setting fires to try and burn it down?

I for one would rather see the money go towards something beneficial like a skate park rather than political to try and make a bad section of town "look" better and give people that feel entitled to it somewhere to hang out while not working.

Quite a bit of underhanded things still going on under Culvers watch, I am sure he is working on it but people are really starting to wonder.

Looks like Bob Culver spanked Jim Ireton in this letter.

I'm sorry to see that Bob Culver would sign his name to a letter written by none other than his Director of Administration, Strausberg, with an angry attack on an employee of the city. We expect more from you, Mr.Culver. This is another example of why he does not serve you well as your key person. I'm sure that Rec and Parks had their reasons and I'm not complaining about that but the tone of your reply is just wrong.

looks like we may need John Robinson to step in and build his skate park.

Salisbury has gotten more than its fair share of Program Open Space money over the years. Mr. Ireton and Ms. Stam should take a tour of all of the county's park and rec assets, not just those in Salisbury, to see where the needs (not wants) lie. Some of those playgrounds are accidents waiting to happen, and lawsuits to follow them.

The "tone" of the letter is perfect for a response to a mayor who acts as entitled, like a Princess, as he does.

People on the Westside don't want any improvements or the scum from SBY that comes to our part of the county to use the parks.

It is about time that the untruths perpetuated by the City of Salisbury - elected officials, paid employees and volunteers - be exposed. It is about time that Ireton and crew be taken to task. They are nothing but bullies and have gotten away with it and their prima donna actions far too long. Good work Culver.

It's good to see that at least there is one adult in the room!

Way to go Bob. Frankly, the letter is professional and states each factual line item. The letter is not hateful or disrespectful at all. It is truthful period.
