JUST IN: Blood on shoe links suspect to D.C. mansion killings, officials say

First, DNA on a pizza crust led authorities to the man they accuse of killing three members of a prominent Washington family and their housekeeper.

Now investigators say they have a new clue linking suspect Darron Dellon Dennis Wint to one of the victims: blood found on a shoe he was wearing when authorities arrested him.

Forensic analysis matched traces of blood on Wint's shoe to at least one of the murder victims, two law enforcement officials said. The officials would not specify which victim's blood was allegedly found on Wint's shoe.

It's too soon to say what role the evidence could play in the case authorities are building against Wint, who has been charged with first-degree murder in the killings last month of Savvas, Amy and Philip Savopoulos and housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa.

He is perfect example of what lies ahead people. Tortured and set a child on fire to get the cash he wanted. I guess this is a case of white entitlement. I mean people who work for a living. Time for working people to take a stand. Whatever color you are we as a society can no longer look the other way to these crimes

Eye for an eye justice, set him on fire and burn him alive! Burning alive is the most painful way to be killed, perfect for this monster.

ummmm. he said he didn't like pizza so it couldnt have been his DNA on the crust. Therefore, he's innocent. And, his lawyer said that he is a nice kid who would be someone who could have lunch with your grandmother.

Maybe we should let him live with the lawyer.

That lawyer Robin Frick is his name is absurd. He is doing more to harm his client than help him. He needs to stay off TV and keep his mouth shut. The he 'doesn't like pizza' comment was bizarre.

I can only remember the 10 yo that this worthless POS was torturing for a free ride and free money.

These people are not entitled to life and need to be shown why they are exciting it when the time comes. Our country gave him a chance in this country and he spit in our faces.
