Governor Hogan needs to get more aggressive in crime enforcement and settlement. There are a LOT of seniors out here willing to provide information (that they may witness) but not if it puts them as risk. So, who does it? I don't think the seniors care. They simply want crime to go down and live a peaceful life.
Who can we call/notify?

You couldn't be more wrong I am 67 years old and always step up and have notified SPD and other departments of anything I have seen, heard or know to help. I also have tried in vain to call attention to Salisbury's unsolved murders yes there are many, and the missing for years. The only response and help I get is from the Wicomico Cty Library!
do you even follow the news? Just this week governor hogan added 100 troopers. Far more than omalley ever did.
100 in Annapolis. I bet he will feel safer.
Butt, Butt, Butt crime is down in Salisbury. Just ask Jake Day and Jim Ireton. Those stupid clowns have no idea what is going on in this city. Run them the Hell out of town please!!

Crime Solvers don't prevent crime you idiot, strict laws and criminal enforcement does. An eye for an eye. They only get one appeal and then put a bullet between their eyes!!

Thanks Chuck Cook now go troll back on that Blubber Bloggers Blog!
We will see a press release about the stabbing that happened less than 2 hours after this happened? Will SPD try to hide that fact also?
Carry yourself a nice gun. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
What does 100 more troopers in annapolis do for the shore? Write more tickets around the bay bridge?
When is gov hogan going to alliw concealed carry we need it now what you say larry.
More storm troopers. More revenue.
Governor Hogan can only sign a bill into law. The bill has to be introduced and approved first, by (caring) lawmakers, before it makes it's way to the Governor's desk for signature.
Why bring in Troopers that know nothing about the area. Is SPD really that incompetent???
Must really build the morale of Babs detectives to have Troopers come in and take over all their major crimes. Grow a set Babs you are better than that. Maybe Jimmy called for this his days are numbered trust Day will crush him in next election
Gut wrenching...Sounds very familiar to my sons murder that took place 5 years ago in Wicomico County. My son was 19 found dead inside the entrance of a home in Hebron. To this day my sons murder remains unsolved
This is getting old! Do you have something to say more productive.
Martinez your husband knows the truth ask him. Why was he is shot in Baltimore ?? Your family needs to tell the truth and then the murderer will be caught. OH was this one of MSP Homicide cases. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Really they did not solve it lol.
They already do. Some troopers drive four hours here from the mountains. Drive around for an hour and head home. Hard days work I tell you. Hell. One trooper who lives in Pittsville did the same thing just to the mountains and back.
Not lol. Cops probly killed him. I wish she'd tell her story. Maybe someone can help.
My husband? My husband was with me in Florida when my son was killed. It wasn't in Baltimore, it was in Hebron
I have shared my story what would you like to know I will share any info
I live in Delaware. We have the State Police Department, some City Departments, and a few one horse town cops. That's it. Annapolis at last count has 5 police departments (State, County, City, General Services, Transportation, etc.). Why????
The people doing the policing should be assigned by need. The people overseeing them (motor pool, HR, etc). As for Wicomico, the County should take over the SPD and stop letting it be used as a political tool by the mayor. They might even save a ton of overhead money in the process.
