NAACP RECEIVES UPDATE: CLOSING THE ACHIEVEMENT GAP

The April 28th meeting will be rescheduled to May 28th because our members wish to attend the Safe Street Meeting which is scheduled for April 28th.

On May 28th, the States' Attorney will give his presentation after the BOE's presentation.

Representatives from the Wicomico County School System will discuss measures used to close the achievement gap and share how much success has been made since 2012. School system staff will share what their goals and objectives have been since 2012.

President Ashanti says, “The NAACP sees the achievement gap as an opportunity gap. It is
a missed opportunity to learn and be successful."
