Again, what is Fox News supposed to be afraid of? And what does Fox or any news/entertainment source have to do with gangs of thugs roaming the streets looting and damaging businesses?
Freddie Gray put himself at a high risk every time he hit the streets looking to break the law. If Mr. Gray had chosen to remain at home reading or being with family instead of dealing drugs on the street he would still be alive today. Unless, that is, he had been the victim of a drive by shooting by one of his constituents.

The Bloods and the Crips have had a presence in Sandtown/Winchester area of Baltimore city for a long while. Since the end of Feb the area has already had over 30 shootings. Not sure how many resulted in murder. Keep in mind this was 30+ shootings where people were hit and not just the day to day gun fire that you hear on a regular basis in that city.
That area is so bad even the West Baltimore crack hookers (streetwalkers as they are commonly referred to in the city) stay well south of Sandtown in the Pigtown/Wash Blvd/Wilkins Ave areas.

Sandtown's horrid. Even in broad daylight it's terrifying and sad at the same time. It's 98% black. The other 2% is the Middle Easterners and a few from India who own the many liquor stores in the neighborhood. They always live above their shops and are counted in the census, making up the additional 2%.
Whole blocks are abandoned. What really stands out when you venture into one of these urban war zones is the lack of traffic. The streets are empty and you don't even see cars parked anywhere. The residents don't own vehicles because they can't afford them and those that do know better than to drive in the crime infested streets.
If you are white and you do happen to get lost and end up in one of these neighborhoods you can almost be certain you will get stopped by the cops because they think you are there to purchase illegal drugs. If you explain you are lost they will give you an escort out or point you in the direction of safer areas or to your destination.
If the cops don't get to you soon enough out of nowhere comes a small army of young black men and even some children who surround your car. If you are there to buy drugs you drive real slow and have left either the passenger door or a back door unlocked and whoever finds the unlocked door first "wins." They jump in, the driver circles the block and buys his drugs, drops the dealer off and leaves. I can't recall what this type of dealing is called but there is a street slang phrase for it.
The corners themselves where this occurs is called an open air drug market.
While working at a non profit in another blighted area of that city I had occasions to go to the YO Center (youth opportunity) in Sandtown and was stopped by both the cops and the dealers until both started to recognize our cars. Then they would just wave to us-another very rare occurrence on the streets of that city that someone waves to you.

Maybe the whole damn city will erupt and a few thousand of those POS will get blown away.
