Robert Van Winkle, better known as rapper Vanilla Ice, was released from custody on Wednesday after being arrested over accusations of breaking into and stealing from an abandoned Florida home.
The 47-year-old said it had been a misunderstanding and "it will all be cleared up".
Lantana police said Mr Van Winkle had been renovating the house next to the property where items had been stolen.

Yeah didn't realize going into another person property without permission was considered burglary. I thought you had to sneak at night for that.

I think he meant you can take the white out of the suburb but you can't take the suburb out of the white.
I think he is being sarcastic because VI thinks he is ghetto black.
I think since Vanilla Ice is doing those rehab shows on renovating houses I believe him. He makes enough money that he doesn't have to steal.
