Net Neutrality vote this Thursday

This week, the Federal Communications Commission will be voting on new proposed net neutrality rules that would regulate the internet as a public utility.

These proposed rules would ensure that the internet remains free, open, and fair. Thanks to your advocacy, we're on the cusp of a major victory to protect the open internet, but the fight isn't over.

Will you add your name to let the FCC know that you support this proposal to keep the internet free, open, and fair?
Internet Service Providers shouldn't dictate where and when you can go online and these new rules will make sure that never happens.

Join me in using the freedom of the internet to send one more message to the FCC: vote in favor of new rules to protect the open internet.

Thanks,

Martin O’Malley

Support WHAT? No one has any idea what is in the bill. Consider the source of encouragement,

If it walks talks and acts like a duck, it's probably a Democrat buzzard.
If O'Malley endorses this, DON'T.

If O'Malley supports it, I'm against it.

Anytime you read the government is instituting "new rules" in the name of "fairness", there be dragons hatching. Just say no. The 'net is the only source of free speech left. If the maroons in D.C. take over, a whole new, non-elected bureaucracy will decide what's "fair", "appropriate" or "political". They'll be reading the Chinese manuals for tips.
And 10:13 is correct. If MOM's for it, you can bet it's a power/money grab.

No. We do not want the Government regulating anything else. If Obama and Omalley want it, it's not good and will be taxed.

No No No to Net Neutrality. Don't be fooled by this dishonest article. First of all if Tax Man O'malley is for it, it is bad.
I know it doesn't do a lot of good to call a representative but that may be the only choice here.
Perhaps representatives from other states will help to stop this new proposal.

If you all want to watch your Netflix and Youtube without paying extra you'll want to support net neutrality.

Republicans backed off their opposition. It's going to pass. And you will love it. Unless you work for Comcast.

"If O'Malley supports it, I'm against it."

O'Malley supports racial equality. Are you against this too? Why don't you make up your OWN mind. Idiot.

110, Comcast, Obama, the FCC, and now O'Malley are all FOR it.

There. You. Go.

My ISP offers me different speed ranges right now. I can buy what I want whenever I want if I'm a heavy gamer, or just a movie watcher, or just like to skip around reading web pages. MY choice. No "packages" of 150 channels just so I can see the 10 I want to watch. MY CHOICE.

I can post, publish, write, upload, download absolutely anything I want right now, and get perfectly accurate news and information about what really happened all over the globe right now.

The folks listed above want to "FIX" that.

Get it now?

to 3:14 I hope you can pay for your internet and cable with your food stamps or whatever else the government is giving you for free after the Net Neutrality law is passed. I think you are the IDIOT in the room.

As noted above, easy litmus test...If OweMalley is advocating it watch your wallet.

IIRC, our phone bills still include a fee that was a 'luxury tax' when enacted. It was to pay for the Spanish-American War!

FCC wants to get its fingers on the internet to throttle free speech and expression. Beware!

You really have no idea how this works currently.
